The problem
What is AI safety?
Artificial intelligence is advancing faster than our tools to understand and steer it. AI safety is the field working to close that gap: making increasingly capable systems reliable, controllable, and beneficial for everyone.
Aligning AI is an open problem
We still do not know how to guarantee that a highly capable system does what we actually want, or how to oversee it once it surpasses us at a task.

Community
We connect researchers, engineers, and policy professionals in Colombia who share an interest in AI safety, and create spaces for them to meet.
Learning
We run discussion groups and guide the community toward established training programs, such as those from BlueDot Impact, Apart Research, and 80,000 Hours.
Events
We host talks, panels, and gatherings, and organize the Bogotá hub of Apart Research's Global South AI Safety Hackathon.
